To run Dynamic Product Ads (DPA) on Facebook and Instagram, your catalog must be linked with a Pixel (event source). This enables Facebook to show the right product to the right person based on their behavior on your site.

⚠️ Why this is important?

If you skip this step, your catalog cannot be used in Advantage+ Shopping Campaigns or Dynamic Remarketing. Meta will show a warning like:

βœ… How to Connect Your Pixel

  1. Go to your Commerce Manager

  2. Select your Catalog (e.g., FeedNexa)

  3. In the Overview tab, click β€œConnect event source” under β€œConnect to tracking”

  4. Choose the Pixel that’s tracking product views, add-to-carts, and purchases on your store. Choose Connection

  5. Save and confirm

Make sure the chosen Pixel is actively firing product-related events on your catalog.

πŸ’‘ Pro Tips

  • No code required for tracking setup

  • Pixel is installed and firing all required events

  • Product IDs are auto-mapped correctly between Shopify and Facebook

If you don't have Pixel in list here, you can use to create new:
