How to configure the Google Shopping channel

This page includes Account and Merchant ID settings configured in and Sync to GMC settings in of the onboarding process when you choose channel Google shopping, along with some addition settings.

  • Google shopping category configuration:

    • This configuration allows you to associate specific Google product categories with your products based on: product tags, product types, or product vendor

    • The category can also be assigned in product details and default settings, but the category assignment follows this priority order:

      • Product details (highest priority)

      • Google Shopping category

      • Default settings (lowest priority)

  • Automated Rules:

    • This setting allows you to create custom rules for automatically mapping and adding fields to your products before syncing them to GMC.

    • You can create multiple rules with different conditions and actions to fine-tune your product categorization.
